Los Angeles is known by all Americans just like LA, also "The Big Nipple" great breast, to distinguish it from New York, is located in the State of California, near the Pacific Ocean, and not far from the mountains of San Gabriel. Not far away lies the desert, and about two hours of machine is the border with Mexico...The city extends on a very large and consists of a central area, the Downtown, which are located in all of its business, financial and administrative, and popular beaches such as Venice or Santa Monica. Only 110 years ago Los Angeles was a small town called El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles, has become over the years one of the largest metropolises in the world and one of the major U.S. cities. An important contribution in Los Angeles have given the favorable position in trade with the Pacific area, and the presence of Hollywood, the capital of world cinema, which has made it a goal to be much appetite actors, producers, singers and personalities of the show, attracted here by the variety of landscapes and perfect climate. The population is multiracial, and is composed of whites that blacks with a strong presence in Asia and Latin America.The climate is defined as Mediterranean, with winter temperatures average about 13C and summer of 21-22C, precipitation is rather low (about 350 mm), and concentrated exclusively in the winter. Note how the contrast between the warm air of the desert and near the colder the Pacific give rise, especially in late spring and early summer, a dense and persistent fog and weather, especially along the coast: this phenomenon is locally called May Gray or June Gloom.
