In March, Valencia will hold a festival called Las Fallas, which lasts one week and is characterized by splendid fireworks, colorful parades, drinking and dancing that lasts all night. During Semana Santa (Holy Week), which precedes Sunday Easter, sacred images are carried in procession along the streets: on this time Seville is particularly striking. On late April, the city also hosts the Feria de Abril, which balance the religious fervor of Holy Week: Do not miss if you can find accommodation.
The last Wednesday of August in the city of Buñol rages "La Tomatina", during which the tomatoes remained from the crop are happily trown. The Running of the Bulls (San Fermin) in Pamplona in July is the most famous festival in Spain. Along the north coast is celebrated, staged during the first fortnight of August, the Semana Grande (another great opportunity to drink and drunkenness!).
